Join us as DCS System Automation Engineer
In this role you’ll make an impact by:
? System Design & Debugging:
Help design DCS (Distributed Control System) solutions based on process needs, select hardware like instruments and controllers, write control logic and programs for the DCS. Debug functions like loop control and safety interlocks to meet process requirements.
? System Maintenance & Optimization:
Perform regular checks and maintenance on DCS hardware (like sensors, controllers, actuators), replace faulty or aging parts, maintain the automation software. Quickly find and fix system problems to minimize downtime, improve system performance by adjusting settings and logic for better control and efficiency.
? Project Support & Collaboration:
Assist with installing, testing, and commissioning automation systems for new or improve projects, work with other engineers (process, electrical) to integrate systems, collaborate with instrument and process engineers to solve interface issues between the automation system and field equipment.
? Documentation & Training:
Write technical documents like operation manuals and maintenance procedures. Train operators and maintenance staff on DCS systems.
? Safety & Compliance:
Implement security measures to prevent unauthorized access, regularly back up system data, follow industry standards and company rules, ensure the automation system meets safety and environmental requirements.
To succeed you must hold:
? University degree or above or relevant experience; Major in instrument automation, industrial automation, etc. 5+ years of experience in industrial automation.
? familiarity with mainstream DCS systems (such as Siemens, Yokogawa, Honeywell, etc.), mastery of skills like PLC programming and instrument calibration
? Good leadership and independent project management skills, clear thinking, able to effectively arrange various tasks.
? Good English reading comprehension and oral communication skills.
