Description:
IT Engineer should be familiar with network and security and will be responsible for Network Maintenance, and solve problems of PC, Printer, Projector and Servers as Helpdesk。
Reporting to: Office Manager
Competencies:
- Excellent skills of network administration and other technical devices like PCs, office facilities, etc.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of the IT device market
- Knowledge of VM Technology
Responsibilities:
- Procure, install and maintain IT equipment
· Plan, organize and evaluate the operations of information systems; make recommendations about purchase of technology resources on a monthly basis
· Implement IT policies and procedures
· Meet with managers to discuss system requirements, specifications, costs and timelines
· Maintain log and/or list of repairs and maintenance on a weekly basis
· Monitor security of all technology on a weekly basis
· Research current and potential resources and services
· Prepare monthly plan for regular up-dates of soft-and hardware for discussion
with and decision of management
- Ensure and implement appropriate back-up of files
· Ensure technology and equipment is at all times accessible and equipped with current and future data capacity
- Help desk to answer questions from staff including set-up of conference room
and conference calls
· Troubleshoot all technology issues
· Pro-actively check with the meeting organizer of required equipments and IP
address if video conference
· Check all facilities in conference rooms and ensure they all work properly on a
monthly basis
· Provide recommendations about system updates, if necessary, and check on a
monthly basis whether systems upgrades are recommendable
- IT training for new employees
· Provide orientation to new users of existing equipments within 2 days after their start
· Provide individual training and support on request
- Join the secretary monthly MS Office skill training
- Comply with office rules including daily own timesheet
· Make own time recording every day and send it to Deborah on a weekly basis
- Comply with office rules. Be obliged to keep all client and internal information and all info related to remuneration confidential
Prerequisites:
- Bachelor’s Degree or above in Computer Science, Information Technology or similar;
- Must have strong verbal and written English skills;
- A minimum of 5 years’ IT experience;
- In-depth knowledge on one or more of network OS, System management, and TCP/IP protocol family;
- Strong analytical logic and problem troubleshooting skills;
- In-depth understanding of Microsoft Windows Server products or other OS
product family.
- Good at MS office applications, especially content presentation.
- Good at VM Technology
- Excellent communication skills and proactive communication with supervisors,
self-motivation and must have a strong team spirit;
- Work hard with high sense of responsibility;
- Be able to work under pressure.

- Ensure smooth running of all IT systems and IT service functions so that there are zero breakdowns (unless caused from outside) and zero successful attacks
- Have strong problem shooting skills. When providing support, please consider in advance other related information that the user may also need.
- Provide contract for renewal to Office Manager and Finance Manager before submitting to Managing Partner for signing
- Report to Office Manager on a weekly basis. Always report timely, not wait until
problem happens
- Strive to explain issues in logical structure
- Work smoothly with new IT system of new domain
