MAPP China (My Anti-corruption Policy and Procedures) is Pfizer’s compliance platform designed to uphold the company’s commitment to ethical business practices and adherence to China anti-bribery and anti-corruption laws. The MAPP solution provides a centralized digital framework for managing, documenting, and approving interactions with healthcare professionals (HCPs), government officials, and third-party entities across global markets. The solution is a cornerstone of Pfizer’s compliance infrastructure, ensuring that all business activities are conducted with integrity and transparency.
As a member of the Digital team and in partnership with Pfizer China’s Meetings and External Events organization, the selected candidate will focus on supporting on-premises software solutions, ensuring the stability, scalability, and reliability of the MAPP application and platform in China.
We are looking for a dynamic colleague with client-facing and technical skills, who is collaborative and passionate about using Digital technology to solve problems. This role will collaborate across the Digital organization to effectively implement forward-thinking solutions for MAPP China.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
●
Manage the operationalization and ongoing support of the MAPP China applications, ensuring its stability, scalability, and reliability.
●
Manage the service delivery for the application, including overseeing service delivery vendors and hosting vendors, and implementing solutions to improve service stability and automation.
●
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, business owners, developers, system administrators, network engineers, and vendors to ensure efficient and reliable platform operations.
●
Identify opportunities for platform enhancements and propose improvements to optimize performance and user experience.
●
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
●
Assist with release management for assigned applications, including platform upgrades, application maintenance releases, and system patching.
●
Ensure smooth transition of application upgrades and new capabilities to production support.
●
Implement and execute operational compliance processes to ensure all application support activities comply with China data regulations and laws.
●
Partner with Solution Delivery and Engineering leads to define and implement supportability requirements and manage the transition of projects to long-term support.
●
Responsible for managing a team of vendors and resources
●
Ensure compliance with audit processes
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
●
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
●
A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with progressively increasing responsibility.
●
Strong experience in managing on-premises IT platform, network and software.
●
Basic knowledge of Appian platform features, process modeling, data management, user interfaces, and integrations.
●
Knowledge of UNIX-based systems, including shell scripting, system administration, and performance monitoring in enterprise environments.
●
Understanding of Amazon Web Services (AWS), including deploying, managing, and optimizing cloud-based infrastructure and services.
●
Problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to quickly identify and resolve technical issues.
●
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
●
Broad knowledge of corporate enterprise and compliance systems.
●
Strong knowledge of Appian platform features, process modeling, data management, user interfaces, and integrations.
●
Knowledge of on-premise networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing, and firewalls, and enterprise architecture principles and frameworks around on-premise networking.
