Position Overview
Sanofi is seeking a talented Software Engineering Expert specializing in AI Development to
join our innovative digital team. This role will be instrumental in designing, developing, and
implementing cutting-edge artificial intelligence solutions that accelerate the setup
process from user, and the development process from digital team. The ideal candidate
will combine deep technical expertise in AI/ML with strong software engineering practice.
Key Responsibilities
AI Solution Development
? Design, develop, and deploy AI applications to solve complex business challenges
across Sanofi's value chain
? Build scalable, production-ready AI systems that integrate with existing enterprise
applications
? Implement and optimize machine learning pipelines for data processing, model
training, and deployment
? Develop and maintain AI applications with focus on performance, scalability, and
reliability
Cross-functional Collaboration
? Work closely with product owners, data scientists, and business stakeholders to
understand requirements
? Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and estimation
Quality & Governance
? Implement robust testing strategies for AI systems, including model validation and
performance monitoring
? Document AI architectures, models, and code following industry best practices
? Address data privacy, security, and compliance considerations in AI
implementations
Required Qualifications
Education & Experience
? Master's or PhD in Computer Science, or related field
? 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering with at least 3 years
focused on AI/ML development
Required Technical Skills
? Proficient in Python programming, familiar with FastAPI development and
microservices. Strong SQL skills.
? Familiar with structured and unstructured data preprocessing work.
? Familiar with scikit-learn, has good knowledge of machine learning frameworks
such as Decision Trees, Random Forest, KNN, XGBoost, etc.
? Experienced with the development and deployment of LLMs applications, RAG and
Prompt Engineering.
? Experienced with Multi-Agent design and development, familiar with leading
frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, smolagents, etc.
? Experienced with vector database such as pinecone, pgvector, faiss, etc.
Preferred Qualifications
? Experience with specific AI domains such as clinical trails, drug discovery.
? Experience with Knowledge Graph Database like Neo4j, AWS Neptune.
? Experience with data analysis and data mining
? Knowledge of GxP compliance in software development
Soft Skills
? Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking
? Good working knowledge of English is required. Candidates should be comfortable
reading technical documentation, writing emails
? Collaborative mindset with ability to work in cross-functional teams
