Responsibilities:
Supplier selection and evaluation process:
?Support Purchasing with the supplier approval process by assessing manufacturing/technology, Quality capabilities and risks.
?Prepare and conduct supplier on-site audits
?Request and verify supplier risks mitigation correction action plan according to audit outputs.
?Support new product launches to ensure suppliers are capable of delivering to the required quality standards.
?Build trust relationships with suppliers.
Supplier project management:
-Share and explain to supplier all KAMA requirements related to quality targets, project requirements (APQP), process preparation and validation requirements (PPAP) and other customer specific requirements.
-Carry out and support supplier during industrialization process according to APQP and general vehicle master schedule.
-Responsible for supplier Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) and PSW sign off.
-Work with Engineering (Design and Manufacturing Engineers) team to define process parameters and criteria to ensure supplier process capability is effective to meet product and process requirements.
Supplier development:
-Manage the Supplier quality and delivery Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to identify process improvement opportunities within the supply chain.
-Manage the root cause analysis and corrective actions process of supplier quality issues.
-Review supplier manufacturing processes, collaborate with suppliers on process improvement and value enhancement opportunities (Supplier development).
-Promote the use of customer preferred techniques for continuous improvement such as Lean,Six-Sigma, Poka-Yoke (Error Proofing), Measurement System Analysis and FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis)
-When it is required, be responsible for supplier trainings to cover quality basics like TQM, Lean, TPM, SPC, problem solving (8D, A3, DMAIC, etc.).
-Conduct benchmarking studies to determine best practices/designs and future trends.
EXPERIENCES:
-Experience with complete SEATS or related products in SQA or Quality engineer role.
-Understand manufacturing processes like machining, casting, welding, SMT and assembling.
-Skilled with on-site manufacturing and quality operational system audit according to IATF 16949.
-Good knowledge of ISO9001, IATF 16949.
-Expert knowledge and practice in quality tools like: 8D, PPAP, APQP, FMEA, MSA, SPC.
-Excellent communication skills. Ably to lead cross-functional teams and suppliers.
-Will be an advantage if you are certified internal ISO 9001 or IATF 16949 auditor.
-Will be an advantage if you are 6 Sigma Green or Black Belt certified expert.
