We are seeking a skilled and proactive Project Manager to oversee HHB customer projects for Chinese clients. This role focuses on end-to-end project management, stakeholder collaboration, and driving operational excellence.
You will be based in Beijing, China and will together with local development scientist to manage projects for Chinese customers, while being part of the team in Denmark. You will receive training through short stays in Denmark and ongoing remote collaboration with your manager and colleagues via daily or weekly interactions.

In this role you’ll make an impact by:
? Project Management: Lead customer projects from scoping to the production of the first batch, define project scope, plan milestones, and evaluate risks in collaboration with the sales team and customers, ensure timely execution of deliverables within defined quality and budget parameters.
? Stakeholder Coordination: Work closely with local Chinese CMOs on product setup, facilitate decision-making and lead cross-functional project teams by providing clear direction and motivation, build and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders across R&D, Operations, Commercial Development, Sales, QA, and Regulatory teams.
? Process Improvement: Continuously identify opportunities to improve project management tools and processes, guide sales managers on standard timelines and communication practices to support project success, promote customer-centric, efficient, and streamlined ways of working.
? Product and Artwork Implementation: Oversee artwork implementation for new products and packaging changes for Chinese customers, drive product changes and updates based on customer requirements.
? Knowledge Building: Develop expertise in managing customer projects in China and share best practices, proactively address resource or competency issues and mitigate project risks.
? Administrative Tasks: Initiate material creation in systems to support operations, and regularly communicate project status to stakeholders.
To succeed you must hold:
? Master’s degree in Science, Biology, Food Science, or a related technical field.
? 1 – 5 years of project management experience, including leading project meetings, preferably within an international company.
? Proven ability to ensure successful project completion by proactively following up on tasks and meeting outcomes.
? Strong customer-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering value.
? High personal drive and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment where project scope and priorities may shift.
? Highly organized with a structured approach to work, maintaining clarity and focus during busy periods.
? Proficient in English communication for daily work.
