IT Expert

Responsibilities
- Design of modern and maintainable system and software architecture, taking into account the operational architecture implementation and ensuring target architecture compliance, especially for digital transformation.
- Consider local Chinese solutions to be embedded in the Company’s Group architecture/system landscape
- Secure handling of country-specific requirements in China (e.g. ICP license, cybersecurity law, data localization)
- Supporting the operational transition to DevOps processes including CI/CD, infrastructure as code and observability
- Evaluation of possible SW components
- Vendor selection and management
Essential hard skills
- Very good English skills.
- Very good communication skills and team-work ability.
- Project management methodologies like Scrum, Kanban etc., with the ability to manage the project in terms of QCT.
- Vendor selection and Management: managing external development teams, including evaluating technical proposals and controlling project cost and quality.
- Independent design and development of system architecture (e.g. web and mobile architecture).
- Knowledge of current software architecture trends and technologies (e.g. microservices, WeChat).
- Deep understanding of security architectures.
- In-depth knowledge of EIP.
- IoT domain knowledge: data acquisition, wireless transmission (4G/5G), and cloud platforms.
- Data interfaces knowledge: ability to translate complex business requirements into clear API documentation.
- Data protocols & standards knowledge: common vehicle data standards (e.g., CAN bus).
- Be willing to travel domestically and internationally.
Preferred Additional Skills
- Familiar with agricultural data standards (e.g., ISOBUS).
- Familiar with farm management platforms.
- Familiar with China data security regulations.
