In this role you’ll make an impact by:

• Understand the industry application processes, identify potential application area and support define the value proposition for customers
• Responsible for planning and execution of work in accordance with guidelines from application manager, and communication of the results
• Participate the PoC evaluation of early innovation ideas, contribute to the pipeline filling with solid technical conclusions
• Execute early-stage projects, deliver and communicate reliable results to ITM/ITS and support the customer verification and commercialization via close collaboration
• Follow new technology development in the industry and introduce into the project/team when needed
• Under guidance from application manager, keep close cooperation with global baking AR and TS team, undertake the tasks from global to benefit global and regional capability development needs
• Contribute to AB by identifying technical projects or new product which can address industrial pain points together with baking IGN
• Continuously develop professional competency and individual skills
• Supervise the lab colleague for trial implementation to generate reliable experimental results
• Secure that all work is performed in accordance with the quality and safety guidelines in the department.

To succeed you must hold:

• Science degree, preferably master or PhD in food science, food processing, agriculture product processing or adjacent fields.
• At least 3 years in F&B technical team, preferably with baking experiences
• Excellent communication skills, positive collaborative attitude and working agility
• Be curious towards new technologies and new trends, dare to break the stereotype
• Strong customer centricity mindset and drive for creating results
• Fluent English oral and written communication
• Be flexible for potential travelling domestically or abroad according to projects requirement
